Who We Are
For someone or something to be defined as eclectic is ‘ to derive ideas from a broad and varied range of sources’. To fulfil our purpose of simplifying sustainability and overcoming complexity, our eclectic team combines it’s broad qualifications, experiences, failures, successes, bad jokes and awful coffees across multiple markets and industries to deliver real transformation solutions with impact. As former military officers, engineers, trainers, business owners and entrepreneurs, our team and network have lead teams, walked the walk, worked the coalface and earned every wrinkle and scar. We take our mission very seriously, organisational sustainability and complexity management is serious business, but we ultimately believe in having fun in everything we do and never taking ourselves too seriously. Call us to discover how we’re a little different to everyone else, if even for a bad joke that’ll make your day!
Through clear communication and a collegiate approach, we aim to work as a part of our clients’ teams with transparency at every step of the journey to help them succeed. By putting a fresh lens on the business model, our services support organisational transformation efforts in areas of leadership, people, systems, culture, products and services. To achieve this our lens is framed integrating three key principles – CONSCIOUSNESS, SYSTEMS THINKING and EVIDENCE BASED MANAGEMENT that together equates to ‘Sustainability Excellence’. We believe this framework forges a ‘do well and do good’ focus within business, one aligned with human centred principles and the emerging circular economy, allowing client’s to leverage emerging opportunities and prosper in an increasingly complex operating environment. Put simply, we enable clients to:
- TRANSFORM – new purpose, vision and values aligned with systemic thinking and circular economy principles;
- PERFORM – deployment of inter-connected teams, systems and innovation programs offering dynamic decision making capabilities and adaptation outcomes; and
- WIN – healthier planet, stronger communities and market dominance within a complex operating environment that equates to Sustainability Excellence!
The ‘Sustainability Excellence’ Ecosystem
CONSCIOUSNESS comprises leadership, purpose, recognition, evaluation and understanding. It’s here that we reframe ‘business as usual’, broaden our epistemologies, challenge the status quo, think ecologically and dive deep into committing ourselves to both people and environment.
SYSTEMS THINKING ensures the focus is on the whole rather than the parts enabling an understanding of relationships and impacts – it’s here that teams and stakeholders prosper. Systems Leadership also recognises that people aren’t machines and that they need to be able to predict their environments to give their best.
EVIDENCE BASED MANAGEMENT emphasises critical thinking and actions to continually develop and acquire knowledge and wisdom in a world rapidly changing and becoming increasingly complex. In that vein, evidence will challenge biases, previous experiences and best practices and sharpen intuition capabilities. Such actions are becoming paramount to ensure organisations continue to experiment, take risks, develop solutions, build resilience and prosper.

We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to elders both past and present.
